Classifying a Product
For a product to populate a product gallery on your site it will need to be classified (either using Classifications or Tags).

You can use classifications to categorise your products. These classifications are based on the GS1 Global Product Classification, which defines a common set of categories that can be used for any product in any industry.

This differs from product tags that you define yourself. Another key difference is that your products can only have a single classification assigned, whereas a product can be assigned any number of product tags.

Here is a reference to the standard classifications used by Pharmaceutical Suppliers:

Please see the step-by-step guides below on how to:
  1. Selecting the classification for an individual product
  2. Applying a classification to multiple products
  3. Adding tags to products (recommended for eclectic product galleries ie., sale galleries)
