IN BULK

Thanks to our product import/export feature, there’s an easy way to edit the details of several products at once. To do this, you will first need to export the relevant products from your Storbie site via Product Export. You may want to save two copies of your product export, one that you will be working on and one that you can keep as a backup should your import produce an undesired result.

EXPORTING ALL PRODUCTS

1. Go to the 'Products' tab in the 'Manage' area.

2. Hover over the 'more' dropdown.

3. Select 'export all products'.

4. This will start to prepare your products for download.

5. When the process has finished you will be notified and will be able to download all your products by clicking on the products.csv file.

1. Go to the 'Products' tab in the 'Manage' area.

2. Check the boxes of the products you wish to export.

3. Hover over the 'more' dropdown.

4. Select 'export selected products'.

5. This will start to prepare your products for download.

6. When the process has finished you will be notified and will be able to download your products by clicking on the products.csv file.

EDITING THE EXPORTED FILE

1. To begin, delete the columns that you are not editing. This lessens the chance of making undesired changes to other product settings. You need to keep the Product-ID and SKU-ID columns to complete the import back into Storbie.

2. Using the “ShowInventory” and “LimitedStockThreshold” columns, enter your desired settings. To turn off the limited stock flag, leave this row blank.

3. Save this file as a CSV.

IMPORTING A PRODUCT CATALOGUE

Because a CSV file can potentially make changes to your product catalogue, we strongly advise that you publish all existing changes to your store before completing an import. This enables you to roll back your product import if you get unexpected results.

1. Go to the 'Products' tab in the 'Manage' area.

2. Click 'Import Products'.

3. Click 'Choose File' and select the file that you would like to upload.

4. Click 'Finish'.

5. You will now see a message indicating that the product import is in progress.

6. When the import is ready, a message indicating its completion will appear.

7. Refresh the product page to see your updated products.

8. Review that the updates are as you expected. If they are, make sure to 'Publish Changes' to your shop.
